I'd Like to Buy an E...

So, without the orange tint of our "natural cherry" stained door and the red sock blocker, do you see the sage green and the purple in this Wick colorway? (Use number #23 for the retired Pampered Chef cutting board... a pure, white background for yoga socks! Don't worry. The board is still wrapped in shrink wrap, and I'd wash it before I used it anyway.) For the record too, I despise Neapolitan ice cream, but I can see why, particularly from yesterday's photo, your thoughts headed that way.

I love these socks, and I love the ones Cass is doing too, same yarn, same colorway. While the Knitter's Knight is at the firehouse saving the rest of the community from more serious crises than needing #1/2.25 metal dpns, I think I'll slide around online and pick up more Wick and some Maizy, and the new Tofutsies sock of the month... (Sssshhhh... As far as I know, Mark doesn't read my blog!)

In the meantime, I need to cast on for something else too, because I not only have no UFOs, I have NOTHING on the needles. Gasp! I finished yoga sock #2 just before I forgot to grab the spaghetti noodles on my way out the door. Luckily, we live exactly five miles from the station, so after dropping a full -unopened, thank God - can of Fanta Zero in the firefighters kitchen and swearing like a firefighter (would make a sailor blush), I headed back to the house for the noodles. (Teehee... My fingers subconsciously struck "needles". Wonder why?!) Mark had the water at a full boil when the noodles and I made it back, and about fifteen minutes later, dinner was served. I love Mark's crew, and having his best buddy join us was a treat. (Mark and his best friend were on the same crew until a couple of months ago, and the separation has been a tough adjustment, for the wives anyway!)

But I digress. The Tofutsies June Sock of the Month yarn and pattern await!

I had to frog my whole first sock. I knitted the heel flap inside out. le sigh. I'm starting over though! I will conquer the socks!

Quick! Get something OTN before withdrawal sets in. It's not a pretty sight. What Tofutsie sock club are you in? I could use another sock club. Sure, I could. Sure. I. could.
