Of All the Things I've Lost...

Well, I *WOULD* miss my mind the most, but I can't even remember what it was like to have it together. And trust me, I used to have it on the ball. Cass and I have discussed the possibility that we suffer from the same affliction, but we can never remember to keep comparing notes.

I remember Anne's birthday, because it is the day before my own anniversary. Easy. However, this month alone, I have barely remembered Sharon's birthday, and have zoomed past Wendy's and Nichole's, despite knowing in advance they were coming. Sigh. If I can't even remember that I forgot yours, I truly am sorry. I used to be good at this stuff. And crapola! I just realized that one week ago to the day, I failed to note my mother's anniversary. Dang. A call will be in order once day breaks.

In other words, Anne's bag will be finished this weekend, by cracky! That means that within a week, you'll get your after the fact blog post on this sleeping bag. Unreal. I'm probably going to have to either drive for more yarn in a few hours(what?! no LYSs open at 5 am?!). For some reason, when my mind (see first paragraph) knows we're knitting for felting, I am the loosest knitter in the world, so that's the whole problem. It sill felts to about the right size with ease, but this is just silly. I think I'll go crank out a couple more rows before I go back to bed, instead of updating my Google Reader. Maybe. If I can remember...

Are you sure you don't just need some coffee? Coffee makes everything better. No, really, it does.

Ah, yes. Age. Isn't it the pits? You, my dear friend, have developed a case of CRS. It comes upon one when one has passed the 40 year mark. I use post its, a day minder, my computer, anything that reminds me of what I am to do on any given day. Have you gotten in the car, yet, only to forget where you were going? That's fun, too. So now I have post its all over my dashboard. Don't fret. You are not alone!

Don't worry about forgetting birthdays... I forget them all the time. The only one that I readily remember is my own... but quite often I forget what day today is and then knowing the date of a birthday is meaningless.

Glad to hear you are enjoying the tea! I'm having a cup of the Cranberry Blood Orange right now.

I'm horrible with birthdays and often, can't even remember mine or my hubby's ages. I always try to make him 2 or 3 years younger than he actually is. LOL

And I agree...drink more coffee. I'm riding the wave of my caffiene buzz as we speak. Imagine me sitting here twitching and shaking from all the energy. LOL

I forgot my Mom's Birthday and I even saw her on it. Don't feel bad. It happens, how can they possibly expect us to remember everything. Yarn stores should be open for all of us up at the crack of dawn.

LOL I'm with Amanda, but was there ever any doubt I would be?

I do the same thing :( I posted that anniversary thing to my sister and was still wrong. I swear I didn't realize their anniversary was after Chris's b-day. I think they moved it *grin*

I do hope the sleeping bag is almost complete :o
