That is what it looked like Saturday morning out of my kitchen window. The green? Sweet little maple leaves, just starting to open up. The white? Snow. We didn't have a white Christmas, and I hate to complain, but a white Easter hardly is a good substitute. Many of the local egg hunts were held inside. How fun is that? It's not. The local vineyards are very concerned about this run of hard freeze nights. No amount of pretty white snow can make ruining an entire growing season okay.
Oh, and Happy Easter.
