Ready, set, SOCK!

You're only getting a post because the dogs are still out, and I can't cast on and hop up and down to let them back in. As soon as they get back from their perimeter check, we're off to the first Summer of Socks sock, and my first sock on two circs! See? Cat Bordhi's Columbine Peak and the Fortissima Cotton Color my Felted Bag pal sent me. (One more time, THANK YOU, oh still secret pal!)
If you need me, I'll be with my sock.

Happy Sock Day, Chan! Hope your week is sockful.
(I've been having the worst luck with socks. I got one done a while ago, and ever since then, every single time I try, something goes drastically wrong with the heel shaping, and then I go "AAAARGH" and frog frog frog. *lol*)

Go, Chan! I have been at it most of the day with the biggest smile on my face. Post pics of progress, please. How's that for some fancy alliteration?

I love the colors on that yarn! Good luck with your summer of socks! My Sockza socks are almost done, thank goodness, because I'm ready to make another pair for me!

BTW - On the Vacation Swap, have you found the blog that is in Colorado? I've looked, and can't seem to pin it down. If you happen to know, could you let me know, because my head is too clogged to look anymore. LOL I also didn't think it would be kosher to ask Anne, since she is co-hosting and all.

Off to work! Gotta love these 12s!
