Pout Out Loud

Well, now Knitpicks has failed me too. The 2.25 mm circs are back ordered. I was going to order another book or two, just because I'm ticked and shopping, but that won't happen either.

On an almost happy note, do any of you own this? It's called Total Tote and I can see myself carrying the brown or green one year-round, and NEVER being without at least a sock to knit in public (or at work when the inlaws aren't there) again. Unfortunately, Knitpicks is now on my pooooooo list - did I mention my Cotlin was back ordered and the date kept slipping closer to fall? - so unless someone lets me know that this is available and as wonderful as it looks, I won't buy that either.
Nobody likes me, everybody hates me.
Guess I'll go knit socks.
(Picture me with my full anyway bottom lip poked WAY out, stomping back to the living room. I'll be pulling out the August Tofutsies Sock of the Month yarn and pattern, cuz I have #2 circs.)

Knit Picks can be such a hit and miss. Sometimes, I've received orders within the week, other times, it's been almost two months. It makes you wonder if the cheaper price is worth it. WEBS does some great wool that is at a good price. I don't know about cotton though.

Well that's odd - I got mail a few weeks ago telling me that CotLin was back in stock - did they run out AGAIN? I'd been trying to get some for my DDOS pal because she's been wanting to try it.

Definitely a neat bag!

And I'm with Amy on the hit or miss of KnitPicks - seems to me that the more you NEED something to be quick, the slower it arrives. Great place for ordering things you don't really have any timeframe on needing for something, but want to sort of stock up on or something.

I saw those bags and *almost* ordered one in the green! But, do I really need another bag? I'm trying to be strong. We'll see how long it lasts. LOL

I agree about the KnitPick's. Maybe they'll get the circs back in stock soon!

I've got that same bag in my stash at KP. I need another bag like a hole in the head, but can't seem to resist. My guess is KP i A. gearing up for Fall and Winter B. Never expected the demand they were going to receive for those needles. It does take some time to get things from them, but I still like some of their yarns and needles. Good luck!

I agree too about knitpicks. You can wait awhile forsome items. Also when I was a Green Mountain in Vermont they said that Knitpicks buys third world items and they don't get a liveable wage! i wonder if that is true...also i read your post about local yarn shops....why are they always so rude? My lys is so snoby about everything that I do not go anymore. I order online or buy from craft fairs.

I saw this bag too and was tempted. But I wondered about it's true functionality. But I do love the green... oh I just don't know!

I was wondering if you could give me a little advice about Wick. I know that you love it and I am thinking of trying it. Do you know of any great sock patterns that are perfect for Wick? How many skeins do you need for a pair of socks?

I have this bag and I love it!!!! It holds three projects and my big fat wallet. It has a place for everything and then extra room for more gadgets!!! I have the brown with the green liner. Wonderful bag. Not a bad price, I think I paid around $30 at Wallie World(big box store). I hope that you get your box soon!!!

LOL @ Tantrum. I am sure you will get over it! :oD

I had "boxy" things for carrying my knitting around. I am definitely more of a bag girl. I need the flexing of fabric against my body! LOL And something light!
I love my new knittng bag I bought about a month ago...I should take a pic of it a post but it is nothing snazy about it! LOL

Hi,
They also have this bag at HSN.com and Joann's has it onsale right not for 29.99.
So, you can still indulge while not violating your boycott of knitpicks.

Love that bag! I'm sorry to hear that Knit Picks is being so difficult and keeping your lovelies away from you. I do hope there is a turn in that soon...

Well, you know Miss Sunshine likes the color ;-)

Sorry about the CotLin. Its my fault. It was my rave review that made everyone run over there and buy it all up and leave none for poor Chan. I still Love you, though :-D
